Disclosed are novel clitocybin derivatives and methods for the preparation thereof. Also, anti-aging, pharmaceutical or cosmetic composition comprising the clitocybin derivatives as active ingredient are also provided. The extract from Clitocybe aurantiaca (KCTC 11143BP) or the novel clitocybin derivatives have excel lent ability to scavenge oxygen radicals, to inhibit oxidative DNA damage and to reduce UV-induced erythema, so that they can be useful in the prophylaxis and treatment of diseases attributable to the accumulation of excess active oxygen and can be applied to the preparation of pharmaceutical or cosmetic compositions for the prevention of aging.
