    A compound having the structure set forth in Formula (I): wherein the variables Y, R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 and R 5 are as defined herein. Compounds described herein are inhibitors of poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase activity. Also described herein are pharmaceutical compositions that include at least one compound described herein and the use of such compounds and pharmaceutical compositions to treat diseases, disorders and conditions that are ameliorated by the inhibition of PARP activity.

    A photosensitive composition comprising: (a) a polymer having recurring units represented by the formula wherein X is a (2 + m) valent C6-30 carbocyclic group or heterocyclic group ; Y is a (2 + n) valent C6-30 carbocyclic group or heterocyclic group ; A is -COOR* or -COO⊖R**⊕ wherein each of R* and R** is a group having a carbon-carbon double bond ; W is a group capable of reacting with the carbonyl group of A to form a ring on heating ; A and W are arranged in ortho- or peri- position to z ; m is 1 or 2 ; and n is 0, 1 or 2 , (b) 1 to 20 % by weight, based on the weight of polymer (a), of. a compound having a terminal ethylenically unsaturated group ; (c) 0.1 to 20 % by weight, based on the weight of polymer (a), of an oxime ester compound represented by the formula wherein each of R1, R2 and R3 is a hydrogen atom, a C1-6 alkyl group, a C1-6 alkoxy group or a nitro group; R4 is a C7-11 aromatic acyl group, a C2-7 aliphatic acyl group, a C2-7 alkoxycarbonyl group, a C6-10 aromatic sulfonyl group or a C1-6 aliphatic sulfonyl group ; and R5 is a C1-6 alkyl group, a C1-6 alkoxy group, a C6-1o aromatic group or a C6-10 aryloxy group ; and (d) 0.01 to 10 % by weight, based on the weight of polymer (a), of a coumarin compound represented by the formula wherein R6 is a methyl group or an ethyl group ; and R7 is a C1-7 alkoxy group.

    A charge-transporting varnish containing either a charge-transporting substance consisting of a charge-transporting oligoaniline or a charge-transporting organic material consisting of the charge-transporting substance and a charge-accepting dopant and at least one polymer selected from among polyimides and polyimide precursors; and charge-transporting thin films and organic EL devices, made by using the varnish. The varnish can give thin films which little suffer from defects and have high uniformity and flatness and excellent mechanical strengths, heat resistance, and transparency. In particular, the varnish realizes excellent EL characteristics such as low driving voltage, high emission efficiency, and long service life, when used in organic EL devices.

    The object of the present invention is to provide a polyimide precursor solution having a good coating workability. Another object of the present invention is to provide transfer and fixing parts such as a polyimide seamless belt and the like produced from said polyimide precursor solution. Said polyimide precursor solution is produced by dissolving said polyimide precursor which is a homopolymer or copolymer of a polyamide acid in a solvent mixture of one or more kind(s) of solvent having a lower boiling point under 100° C., and one or more kind(s) of solvent having a higher boiling point of 100° C. or more, wherein said higher boiling point solvent (s) is (are) contained in said solvent mixture in an amount of 5 to 55% by weight.
