Pyrrole-imidazole (Py-Im) polyamides containing stereospecifically α-amino- or α-hydroxyl-substituted γ-aminobutyric acid as a 5‘-TG-3‘ recognition element were synthesized by machine-assisted Fmoc solid-phase synthesis.
