  Reactions of phenol, 4-aminophenol, 4-nitrophenol, 2-nitrophenol, 2,4-dinitrophenol, 2-tert-butylphenol and 2-tert-butyl-4-methoxyphenol in acetonitrile at sacrificial antimony anode using tetrabutylammonium chloride. The products formed analyzed by infrared spectral studies and are identified to be antimony(III) phenolates. Coordination compounds of all these antimony(III) phenolates also been synthesized.
