Reactions between secondary phosphine selenides and a wide range of aliphatic, aromatic and heteroaromatic thiols or dithiols proceed in the Et3N/CCl4 oxidative system under mild conditions (rt 1-3 h) to give thioselenophosphinic S-esters or S-diesters in 80-92% isolated yields.
