  (EN) Preparation of 2,4- or 2,4,5-substituted 6-hydroxypyrimidines of formula (I), wherein R1 represents alkyl or NR7R8, R2 represents alkyl, aryl or aralkyl, and R3, R7 and R8 each independently represents hydrogen, alkyl or aralkyl, or salts thereof with a salt-forming cation, by reacting a 3- or 2,3-substituted 3-aminoacrylic acid derivative of the formula (II), wherein X represents OR4 or NR5R6, wherein R4 represents alkyl, aryl or aralkyl, and R5 and R6 each independently represents hydrogen, alkyl or aralkyl, with a nitrile of formula: R1-C=N, in the presence of a base and a solvent, and, if desired, converting the salt formed to the free pyrimidine of formula (I) by adding an acid.(FR) Ces 6-hydroxypirimidines correspondent à la formule générale (I), où R1 représente alkyle ou NR7R8; R2 représente alkyle, aryle ou aralkyle; et R3, R7 et R8 représentent, indépendamment les uns des autres, hydrogène, alkyle ou aralkyle, ou des sels de ces derniers avec un cation de salification. Ce procédé consiste à mettre en réaction un dérivé d'acide 3-aminoacrylique à substitution 3 ou 2,3, correspondant à la formule (II), où X représente OR4 ou NR5R6, R4 représentant alkyle, aryle ou aralkyle, et R5 et R6 représentant, indépendamment l'un de l'autre, hydrogène, alkyle ou aralkyle, avec un nitrile correspondant à la formule R1-C=N en présence d'une base et d'un solvant. On peut, si on le désire, convertir le sel ainsi formé en pyrimidine correspondant à la formule (I) en ajoutant un acide.
