Copper (I) catalyzed synthesis of 1,3-oxazolidin-2-ones from alkynes, amines, and carbon dioxide under solvent-free conditions

It was described that 1,3-oxazolidin-2-ones could be produced from alkynes, amines, and CO2 catalyzed by copper (I) iodide under the solvent-free conditions. Terminal aryl alkynes and aliphatic primaryamine are good substances for the transformation of CO2 into the target oxazolidinones in good yields.
