Complexes of Palladium(II), platinum(II) and rhodium(III) with 2,6-diminopyridine and its 4-methoxy and 4-ethoxy derivatives have been synthesized. Their antimitogenic activity has been measured as indicated by their inhibition of DNA synthesis which in turn was determined by the uptake of tritiated thymidine. Platinum(II) complexes showed high antimitogenic activity and low toxicity, palladium(II) complexes
