  This invention relates to substituted dihydropyridazinones, pyridazinones and related compounds, of the formula wherein    A is       -(CHR²)n-CHR⁷-Z-;       -(CHR²)n-O-Z-;       -(CHR²)n-S-Z-;       -O-CHR⁷-Z-;       -CR²=CR⁷-Z-;       -CR²=N-Z-;       CHR²-CR⁷=Y-; or       -CR²=CR²-Y=;    D is CR² or nitrogen;    Q is    Z is carbonyl (C=O) or thiocarbonyl (C=S);    Y is carbon substituted with halo, alkoxy, alkynylthio or triazolyl; and either (i) R¹ is alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, cyanoalkyl, hydrazidal and derivatives thereof, cycloalkylalkyl, heterocyclylalkyl, phenyl, phenylalkyl, phenylcarbonyl, alkenyl, haloalkenyl, phenylalkenyl, alkynylalkenyl, alkynyl, haloalkynyl, phenylalkynyl, heterocyclyl, dialkynyl, heterocyclylalkynyl, cycloalkylalkynyl, alkenylalkynyl, hydroxyalkynyl, alkoxyalkynyl, alkanoyloxyalkynyl, formylalkynyl, trialkylsilylalkynyl, trialkyltinalkynyl, haloalkenylalkynyl, carboxyalkynyl, or alkoxy-carbonylalkynyl;    R² is hydrogen, (C₁-C₃)alkyl, phenyl, or halogen;    R⁷ is hydrogen, (C₁-C₃)alkyl, phenyl, halogen, alkynylalkenyl, alkynyl, dialkynyl, haloalkynyl, or alkenylalkynyl;    R³ and R⁶ are independently hydrogen, alkoxy or halogen;    R⁴ is hydrogen, halogen, alkoxy or nitro; and    R⁵ is hydrogen, halogen, nitro, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, haloalkyl, haloalkoxy, haloalkylthio, phenyl, phenoxy or cyano; or alternatively (ii) R² and R³ together form a (C₁-C₃)alkyl, (C₂-C₃)alkylene or carbonyl link and R¹, R⁴, R⁵, R⁶ and R⁷ are as above; or alternatively (iii) R² and R⁷ together form a fused phenyl ring and R¹, R³, R⁴, R⁵ and R⁶ are as above;    and agronomically acceptable salts thereof; compositions containing these compounds and methods of controlling fungal diseases.
