Nano-In2O3 is found to be a remarkable efficient catalyst for the one-pot three-component condensation of isatoic anhydride, primary amine or ammonium salts and aromatic aldehydes for the synthesis of 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-ones in aqueous media.
