The previously unknown 2-(N-phosphorylamino)-substituted 1,8-naphthyridines were synthesized by the direct phosphorylation of 2-amino-5,7-dimethyl-1,8-naphthyridine with phosphoryl chlorides of different structures. The structures of the reaction products were confirmed by mass spectrometry, 1H and 31P NMR spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction study (for one of the compounds).

A general efficient method for the synthesis of phosphoryl isocyanates was developed. The method involves reactions of phosphoryl chlorides with sodium cyanate in the presence of anhydrous magnesium chloride as a catalyst.

palladium-catalyzed intramolecular C−H bond arylation of triarylphosphonate is reported to access cyclic biarylphosphonates targets. The reaction is achieved via an unique eight-membered palladacycleintermediate and show good functional group compatibility under mild reaction condition.
