Wittig-Olefinierung der 3-Ulosen 1 und 9 werden die exocyclischen (E)- und (Z)-Enolether 2 und3 bzw. 11 und 10 gewonnen. An enamine derivative of formula (I)
wherein the groups R' are the same or different and each is a fluorine-containing substituent of the formula RfO- or (Rf)2N- in which Rf is fluoroalkyl, fluoroaryl or fluoroaralkyl ;
R2 and R3 are the same or different and each is alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, an alicyclic group or a heterocyclic group, or NR2R3 is a 5- or 6-membered cyclic group, the groups R2 and R3 or NR2R3 each independently optionally being unsubstituted or bearing one or more substituents ;
Ar1 and Ar2 are the same or different and each is aryl or arylene, Ar1 and Ar2 each independently optionally being unsubstituted except for the group or groups R1 or bearing one of more substituents in addition to the group or groups R1 ;
k is zero or 1;
and m and n are the same or different and each is zero or an integer of 1 to 3, provided that m and n are not both zero is effective as a charge transport material in an electrophotographic member excellent in sensitivity, residual potential, durability and the like electrophotographic properties.
