The synthesis of the new hybrid guanidine ligands DMEGdmap, DMEGdeae, TMGdmab, DMEGdmab, TMGdeab and DMEGdeab is reported. These ligands were combined with zinc chloride, and the six obtained new complexes were structurally characterised by X-ray crystallography and NMR spectroscopy.
