Abstract Complexes of iron(III) and iron(II) with various pyridylamines are reported (specifically di- and tri-(2-pyridyl)amine and 4- and 5- methyl-2-pyridyldi-(2-pyridyl)amine). The iron(III) complexes constitute three types which can be seen as stages in the base hydrolysis of the metal ion.
