Redesign and reduce: The graphic shows some Ru complexes of tridentate ligands that do not contain NH substituents but can catalyse ketone reduction with zero‐order dependence on ketone. In tridentate systems, a secondary amine, not a primary amine, promotes hydrogen activation.
