One-Pot Generation of Lithium (Lithiophenyl)trialkoxyborates from Substituted Dihalobenzenes (Hal = Br, I) and Their Derivatization with Electrophiles

(halophenyl)trialkoxyborates were then subjected to halogen–lithium exchange in situ with a second equivalent of nBuLi to give dianionic lithium (lithiophenyl)trialkoxyborates.
