  AbstractN‐Substituted dihydro‐1,3,5‐dioxazines show a general fragmentation pattern supported by metastable ions, exact mass measurements and deuterium labelling. There are two well‐defined pathways: one is initiated by elimination of the N‐substituent and the other by loss of a hydrogen atom from the heterocyclic ring.
