New derivatives of 2-aminomethyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole were synthesized in the reactions of N-protected phenylglycine hydrazides and triethyl orthoesters (orthoformate, orthoacetate, orthopropionate, orthobenzoate) in the presence of glacial acetic acid.
