The reaction takes place by using benzylic, heterocyclic, and aliphatic alcohols as the acylating reagents and tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) as the oxidant and provides an alternative route for the synthesis of triazole-substituted aryl, heteroaryl, and aliphatic ketones in moderate to excellent yields.
