  Compounds of the formula I ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a phenyl group substituted by one or two members selected from the group consisting of halogen, alkyl having at most 3 carbon atoms, trifluoromethyl, nitro and cyano; and either (i) R.sub.2 represents an alkyl group having at most 5 carbon atoms and R.sub.3 represents a methyl group or (ii) R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 together represent a tetramethylene or pentamethylene group; With the proviso that, when R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 both represent methyl groups or when R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 together represent a tetramethylene or pentamethylene group, R.sub.1 may not represent a 3-chlorophenyl, 4-chlorophenyl, 3,4-dichlorophenyl or 4-fluorophenyl group, possess valuable insecticidal properties.
