Enantioselectiveoxidation of racemic O-methyl-N-hydroxycyclohexylethylamine, using a variant of monoamine oxidase N (MAO-N) from Aspergillus niger, yields unreacted (R)-enantiomer (e.e. = 99%) together with the oxime exclusively in the (E)-configuration.
