  Abstract Various N - t -butyl- N -substituted 2-phenylacetamides, PhCH 2 CON( t -Bu)R, wherein R is methyl, ethyl, n -propyl, n -butyl, i -propyl, phenyl and cyclohexyl, were synthesized.
