2-(Chloromethyl)-3-tosylpropene: An useful reagent for the synthesis of allyl sulfones

2-(Chloromethyl)-3-tosylpropene (5) prepared directly from commercially available 3-chloro-2-(chloromethyl)propene reacts with a variety of heteronucleophiles and Grignard derivatives to afford allyl sulfones 7 and 8 respectively. It reacts also with electrophiles such as carbonyl compounds in the presence of zinc metal under Barbier conditions to give functionalized allyl sulfones of the type 12.
由可商购的3-氯-2-(氯甲基)丙烯直接制备的2-(氯甲基)-3-甲苯磺酰基丙烯(5)与多种杂多亲核试剂和格氏试剂反应,分别得到烯丙基砜7和8。在Barbier条件下,它还会在锌金属存在下与亲电试剂(如羰基化合物)反应,生成12型官能化烯丙基砜。
