  已经开发了α-季α-三氟甲基化氨基酸的第一有机催化对映选择性Strecker合成。使用竹本的硫脲催化剂，将三甲基甲硅烷基氰化物亲核加成到三氟甲基酮亚胺上，可以得到很好的产率（50-99％）和非常好的对映选择性（ee = 83-95％）的α-氨基腈。对映纯氨基腈可通过重结晶获得。脱保护和水解产生标题氨基酸。
