    Chromone derivatives were synthesized from 2,3-allenoic acids and benzynes in moderate to excellent yields under mild conditions. Instead of the cyclic conjugate addition of the intermediate A formed by the nucleophilic addition of allenoic acid with benzyne, this intermediate undergoes 1,2-addition with the carbonyl group, which was followed by the ring opening, conjugate addition, and protonolysis

The composition for hair treatment containing γ-polyglutamic acid or a salt thereof and the hair cosmetic for damaged hair of the present invention have excellent improvement effects on the strength and frictional force of hair, so that they can provide tension, elasticity, or the like to damage hair to prevent or alleviate split hair and broken hair as well as improvements in combing and touch. Furthermore, they also exert effects of moisture retention inherent to γ-polyglutamic acid or a salt thereof, preventing or improving effects on the generation of dandruff on the basis of such effects, preventing effects on the feeling of stickiness or creak, and various effectiveness including appropriate residual tendency to hair in a simultaneous manner, respectively.

    To provide a new method for producing a composition containing a hardly water-soluble aromatic compound, the composition having outstanding hardly water-soluble aromatic compound. A method for producing a composition containing a hardly water-soluble aromatic compound, comprising: Step (1) of obtaining a hardly water-soluble aromatic compound solution 1, Step (1) comprising Step (1-1) of preparing a material for heating comprising (A) a hardly water-soluble aromatic compound, (B) a polyol, and (C) an aqueous medium, and Step (1-2) of obtaining a heated solution containing a hardly water-soluble aromatic compound by heating the material for heating at normal pressure at a temperature of less than 100°C; and Step (2) of obtaining a hardly water-soluble aromatic compound solution 2 by adding water to the hardly water-soluble aromatic compound solution 1 such that the hardly water-soluble aromatic compound solution 2 has a concentration of the (A) hardly water-soluble aromatic compound above a saturation solubility at 25°C, wherein, in Step (1), a content of a surfactant in the material for heating is 0.1 mass% or less and a content of the (A) hardly water-soluble aromatic compound in the material for heating is below a saturation solubility of the (A) hardly water-soluble aromatic compound in a solvent having the same composition at 25°C.
