  比较和研究了使用两种光导性三苯胺基聚合物的复合材料的光折变性能。一种聚合物是聚（丙烯酸4-（二苯氨基）苄基酯）（PDAA）。另一种是新合成的具有甲氧基取代的三苯胺侧基的光导丙烯酸酯聚合物，聚（4-（（4-甲氧基苯基）（苯基）氨基）苄基丙烯酸酯）（PMPAA）。PMPAA中的甲氧基取代基不仅可移动聚合物的最高占据分子轨道（HOMO），而且可有效增强发色团的取向。通过使用改性的PMPAA光电导聚合物，可以确定较大的相移。（4-（二苯氨基）苯基）甲醇（TPAOH）（IP = -5.64 eV）的增塑剂可作为基于PDAA（IP = -5.69 eV）的复合材料的有效捕集剂，从而提高了衍射效率。
