The present invention relates to catechol-derivative compounds of formula (I), as well as polymeric compounds obtained by condensation. The present invention also relates to the use of the compounds for preparing functional coatings and as adhesive substances.
An agent and method for modifying the 5′ cap of RNA, for example for the purposes of isolation and analysis. According to one aspect the invention provides modified enzymes, namely modified trimethylguanosine synthases 2 from
Giardia lamblia
(GlaTGS2), the enzymatic activity of which is changed such that as compared to wild type enzymes the former can use AdoMet analogues better as cofactors.

The present invention relates to a macroscopically alignable, injectable, soft hydrogel composition which is able to form an anisotropic structure in vivo, after injection, to generate healthy functioning tissue and regenerate injured or diseased soft tissue.
The disclosure relates to multilayer polymeric matrix based medical devices. In one example, a device comprises an inner first polymeric matrix and an outer second polymeric matrix. The addition of second polymeric matrix modifies bulk properties of each matrix thus resulting in a device where specific bulk properties are incorporated. The disclosure also relates to methods of manufacturing various embodiments of medical devices and their uses.
