The addition of the secondary phosphane chalkogenides HP(E)R3 2 (E = O , S) to the 1,2,4-triazole or imidazole containing ketones R1C6H4−C(O)−CHR2−X (2, 3) [X = C2H2N3 (2), C3H3N2 (3)] results in the formation of the phosphorylated alcohols R3 2P(E)−C(OH)C6H4R1−CHR2−X (4, 5). 4, 5 are fungicides with partially high activity. Their structures are discussed on the basis of the IR and NM R spectra.
