(CD) spectra of new square planar copper(II) and nickel(II) complexes with the general formula, [M(tmpn) (A-A)]n+ were measured, where tmpn and A-A represent N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyl-(R)-propylenediamine and various bidentate ligands such as aminoacids, β-diketones, and dithiocarbamates, respectively.
