Trichloro- and tribromoacetic acids in organic solvents react with aryl derivatives of methylene-bispiperidine and -bismorpholine with evolution of CO2 and formation of t-N-(1-aryl-2,2,2,-trihalogenoethyl)-amines in good yield.
