  A method of servicing a wellbore in a subterranean formation comprising placing a composition comprising a carrier fluid and a degradable polymer into the subterranean formation wherein the degradable polymer comprises polyimide, allowing the degradable polymer to form a diverter plug at a first location in the wellbore or subterranean formation, diverting the flow of a wellbore servicing fluid to a second location in the wellbore or subterranean formation that is different than the first location; and removing all or a portion of the diverter plug by contacting the diverter plug with a degradation accelerator wherein the degradation accelerator comprises an amino alcohol, an amino alcohol precursor, an organic amine, an organic amine precursor or combinations thereof.
