Abstract Palladium immobilized on organic–inorganic (silica‐gel) hybrid materials behaves as a very efficient heterogeneous catalyst in the Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction. Aryl iodides, bromides, and activated chlorides, coupled with organoboronic acids (Suzuki–Miyaura reaction), smoothly afford the corresponding cross‐coupling products in excellent yields under phosphine‐free and amine‐free reaction
