Perfluorinated phosphoranes with two phosphorus(V) centers have been prepared via elemental fluorination in solution. Oxidation sensitive a,w-bis(dialkylphosphino)alkanes are converted into the corresponding difluorophosphoranes. The F-19 and P-31 NMR are discussed.
