The fluorination of cyclopentane with cobalt trifluoride gives the following polyfluoro-cyclopentanes: C5F10, C5F6H, all four C5F8H2 isomers, all the six C5F7H3 isomers, five of the six C5F6H4 isomers and 1H,2,H4H/3H,5H-pentafluorocyclopentane.
