FAMPHUR被小鼠、美洲蟑螂和乳草甲虫以不同的速度降解。除了FAMPHUR,还发现了FAMOXON和N-去甲基FAMPHUR。两只白面西部母羊和一头小母牛被用氚标记的FAMPHUR处理。除了氧类似物O-去甲基、O,N-双去甲基、两个葡萄糖苷酸、对羟基苯磺酸和几种未知代谢物外,还观察到了对羟基苯磺酸。在大鼠中,主要代谢物是二甲基磺酰胺基苯葡萄糖苷酸。还观察到了O,N-双去甲基FAMPHUR、甲基磺酰胺基苯葡萄糖苷酸和对羟基苯磺酸。

IN ADDITION TO THE OXYGEN ANALOG, O-DESMETHYL, O,N-BISDESMETHYL, TWO GLUCURONIDES, P-HYDROXYBENZENESULFONIC ACID, AND SEVERAL UNKNOWN METABOLITES WERE OBSERVED. IN RATS, MAJOR METABOLITE WAS DIMETHYLSULFAMOYLPHENYL GLUCURONIDE. O,N-BISDESMETHYL FAMPHUR, METHYLSULFAMOYLPHENYL GLUCURONIDE, AND P-HYDROXYBENZENE SULFONIC ACID WERE ALSO OBSERVED.
