简介

单水合亚硫酸铵是一种无色单斜晶体,熔点为60~70℃(分解),沸点150℃(升华)。其相对密度为1.4125,折光率为1.515。该物质溶于水,微溶于乙醇,难溶于丙酮。

应用

单水合亚硫酸铵主要用于造纸工业,也可作为生产快速显影液硫代硫酸铵的原料,并用于有机合成中的还原剂和磺化剂,还可用作日用化学品卷发液的生产原料。

制备

单水合亚硫酸铵可由氨水与二氧化硫作用制得。具体方法包括将二氧化硫通入氨水中或(NH4)2CO3溶液中,在0℃左右进行反应。另一种方法是用水或母液吸收制硫酸尾气中的二氧化硫或焚硫烟气中的二氧化硫,再加入氨水或碳酸氢铵中和反应。

氨水法

将氨水配制成一定比重和碱度的溶液,循环吸收制硫酸尾气或焚硫烟气中的二氧化硫。当吸收液相对密度达到1.30~1.32时送入中和器,再加入氨水中和反应至终点,经离心分离、干燥,可制得亚硫酸铵成品。

碳酸氢铵法

用母液或氨水吸收溶液以制备硫酸尾气中的二氧化硫。当吸收液相对密度达到1.30~1.32时送入中和器,再加入碳酸氢铵中和反应至终点,经离心分离、干燥,可制得亚硫酸铵成品。

化学性质

单水合亚硫酸铵为白色或淡黄色溶液,在受热条件下分解。饱和溶液的相对密度在20℃时为1.1995,呈碱性,并对钢铁有较强的腐蚀性。

用途

主要用于造纸工业;其次用于生产快速显影液硫代硫酸铵的原料;还用作有机合成中的还原剂和磺化剂;同时也是日用化学品卷发液的重要原料之一。
