The title compound, C(11)H(16)ASClN(2)OS, crystallizes with two independent but closely similar molecules. The pyramidal geometry at arsenic is supplemented by a 1,5-intramolecular interaction with the S atom [2.8682 (13) and 2.8101 (13) Angstrom] and by further weaker intermolecular contacts to oxygen and chlorine.
