  Triphenylgallane reacts with alkyl- as well as arylthiols in the molar ratio to form the corresponding phenyl(dialkylthio)- and phenyl(diarylthio)gallanes. When a molar ratio of is used, the corresponding trialkylthio- and triarylthiogallanes are formed. The spectra and some of the physical and chemical properties of the new compounds are reported.
