    A composite film for forming a resinous coating film on a surface of a to-be-coated material. The composite film has at least one of water-soluble resinous coating films, at least one of which is formed on a surface of the composite film which is brought into contact with the surface of the to-be-coated material closely and a base sheet to which the water-soluble resinous coating film adheres and transmits light therethrough. The water-soluble resinous coating film formed on the surface of the composite film which is brought into contact with the surface of the to-be-coated material closely is hardened in close contact with the to-be-coated material, with water interposed between the water-soluble resinous coating film and the to-be-coated material and adheres to the to-be-coated material to form a water-insoluble coating film. It is preferable that the application amount of the water is in a range of 1.5g/m2- 10g/m2. It is preferable that at least one layer of water-insoluble resinous coating film is interposed between the base sheet and the water-soluble resinous coating film. It is preferable that polyethylene-imine and polyvinyl alcohol is contained in the water-soluble resinous coating film or the water.

    The present invention relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape comprising a backing having a first major surface and a second major surface, a pressure-sensitive adhesive provided on said first major surface, and a release coating provided on said second major surface, said pressure-sensitive adhesive comprising one or more hot-melt coatable synthetic rubber polymers and said release coating comprising the reaction product of: (i) 5 - 30 wt. % of one or more polydialkylsiloxanes having (meth)acrylate, vinyl and/or ethenylene groups wherein the ratio of the average number of dialkylsiloxane units to the average number of the sum of (meth)acrylate, vinyl and ethenylene groups is between 10 and 17, (ii) 70 - 95wt. % of one or more polydialkylsiloxanes having (meth)acrylate, vinyl and/or ethenylene groups wherein the average number of dialkylsiloxane units to the average number of the sum of (meth)acrylate, vinyl and ethenylene groups is not more than 5 and/or one or more organic compounds free of silicone and comprising at least two reactive (meth)acrylate, vinyl and/or ethenylene groups, (iii) an effective amount of one or more photoinitiators, wherein the weight percentages given for components (i) and (ii), respectively, refer to the sum of the masses of components (i) and (ii) which add up to 100 wt. %, said pressure-sensitive adhesive tape exhibiting, when in the form of a roll, upon unwind at an unwind speed of 60 m/min or less a noise level of no greater than 75 dB(A).

    The present invention provides a method of making a release coated backing having a fibrous layer of woven fibers or of non-woven fibers of thermoplastic polymer, comprising the steps of coating a curable silicone release coating composition on the fibrous layer of the backing and curing the thus applied silicone release coating by exposing it to actinic radiation or heat, said curable silicone release coating composition comprising (i) a polydialkylsiloxane having acrylate and/or methacrylate groups and the ratio of the average number of dialkylsiloxane units to the average number of acrylate and methacrylate groups being between 10 and 15, and (ii) an organic compound free of silicon and comprising at least two reactive groups selected from the group consisting of an acrylate and a methacrylate group, said organic compound free of silicon having a viscosity of at least 500 mPa·s at 25 °C, and the weight ratio of said polydialkylsiloxane to said organic compound being between 8:92 and 35:65.

    The present application relates to a method and device for making a magnetically mountable substrate construction from a selected substrate for magnetic mounting to a structure including magnetizable material. The magnetically mountable substrate may be formed from a pressure sensitive adhesive magnetic sheet material which includes a flexible magnetic substrate having a first major surface and a second major surface, with a pressure sensitive adhesive layer adhering to the first major surface and a release layer, such as silicone release layer, adhering to the second major surface. The magnetic sheet may be provided in the form of continuous lengths wound in a roll with the release layer in contact with the pressure sensitive layer of an adjacent winding to facilitate unwinding without delamination.
