Intermolecular aerobic oxidative allylicamination of simple alkyl alkenes with simple amines such as diphenylamine was induced by a Pd(OCOCF3)2/NPMoV catalytic system, leading to the corresponding (E)-allylamines in good yield and selectivity through the formation of (η3-allyl)palladium(II) trifluoroacetate species as a possible key intermediate.
