    [PROBLEMS] To provide a protease reaction promoter being superior in usefulness to the known protease reaction promoters, a stabilizer for a colorant to be used in detecting an enzymatic reaction, a method therefor and a reagent and a method for measuring a glycosylated protein and the ratio of a glycosylated protein with the use of the same. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A protease reaction promoter which contains at least one member selected from among an acetate group-containing compound or its salt, N-acyltaurine or its salt and a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate or its salt; a method of promoting a protease reaction by using this protease reaction promoter, a stabilizer reagent containing cyclodextrin for stabilizing a colorant to be used in detecting an enzymatic reaction; a method of stabilization via the coexistence of cyclodextrin with the above colorant; and a reagent and a method for measuring a glycosylated protein and the ratio of a glycosylated protein with the use of the protease reaction promoter and/or the reagent containing cyclodextrin as described above.

    Provided are: a protease reaction promoter which is superior in usefulness to the known protease reaction promoters; a stabilizer for a colorant used for detection of an enzymatic reaction, and a method of stabilizing the colorant; and a reagent for and a method of measuring a glycated protein and a ratio of a glycated protein using the same. There are provided: a protease reaction promoter which contains at least one kind selected from the group consisting of an acetate group-containing compound or a salt thereof, N-acyl taurine or a salt thereof, and a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfuric acid or a salt thereof; a method of promoting a protease reaction by using the protease reaction promoter; a stabilizer reagent for stabilizing a colorant used for detection of an enzymatic reaction, which contains a cyclodextrin; a stabilization method, including allowing a cyclodextrin to coexist with the colorant; and a reagent for and a method of measuring a glycated protein and a ratio of a glycated protein by using the protease reaction promoter and/or the reagent containing a cyclodextrin.
