  Disclosed are microbicidal compositions of a synergistic mixture, the first component of which is ((butylaminocarbonyl)oxy)carbonimidic-dibromide and the second component of which is one or more commercial microbicides, wherein the ratio of the first component to the second component is in the range of 1:0.03 to 1:1000. Also disclosed are methods of inhibiting the growth of microorganisms using these synergistic mixtures.
