  The invention relates to new ethenylimidazoles of the formula in which n is 0, 1 or 2, R1 represents a halogen atom, a trifluoromethyl group or an alkyl or alkoxy group with at most 6 carbon atoms, the two substituents being the same or different when n is 2, R2 represents an alkyl group with 1 to 6 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group with 2 to 4 carbon atoms or a cycloalkyl group with 3 to 6 carbon atoms, R3 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group with 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group with 2 to 4 carbon atoms and R4 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group with 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a nitro group, and their acid addition salts.   An oil-in-water type fat emulsion comprising (a) 0.01 to 20% (w/v) of 1-[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-3-methyl-1-pente- nyl]-1 H-imidazole, (b) 5 to 50% (w/v) of at least one fat emulsion base selected from the group consisting of vegetable oils, triglycerides of a fatty acid having 8 to 12 carbon atoms, and di- and mono-glycerides of a fatty acid having 6 to 18 carbon atoms, (c) 0.05 to 5% (w/v) of at least one emulsifying agent selected from the group consisting of a phospholipid having a content of phosphatidylcholine of 85% (w/w) or more and a nonionic surfactant, and (d) remainder of water, and optionally containing further an isotonic agent and/or a stabilizing agent, said fat emulsion being useful for the treatment of various mycotic diseases effectively and safely.
