The present invention relates to an electrochromic polymer compound composed of a hyperbranched polymer having electrochromic characteristics derived from a quaternary pyridinium salt, a terephthalic acid diester or a biphenyl-4,4′-diester structure, and a varnish, a thin film structure and an electrochromic device that are obtained by the polymer compound. The electrochromic material has high response speed, high coloring efficiency, and excellent repetition stability and can be used for a long time, and has excellent solubility in various solvents.

The object of the present invention is to provide a surface modified rubber and a seal material which enable obtaining a rubber molding being excellent in nonadherence, low friction, abrasion resistance and plasma resistance while retaining strength, compression set, sealing capability and deformation follow-up properties inherently possessed by a rubber material. The process for producing a surface modified rubber according to the present invention comprises contacting a treatment liquid containing a monomer having a polymerizable double bond, a polymerization initiator and a solvent with a rubber base material; and heating the thus contact treated rubber base material so that the monomer is polymerized to thereby modify the rubber base material at its surface and vicinity thereof.

A high-molecular gelling agent precursor for an electrolyte comprises a copolymer formed of (A) a hydrophobic monomer having a hydrophobic group, which forms a carboxyl group upon saponification, and (B) a hydrophobic polyfunctional monomer. The saponification product of the copolymer has property to gel the electrolyte. A high-molecular gelling agent for the electrolyte is produced by saponifying the precursor with a saponifying agent selected from the group consisting of acids and alkalis while using a reaction medium selected from the group consisting of water and hydrophobic organic solvents.

La présente invention concerne une structure multicouches à symétrie de révolution qui est apte à véhiculer un fluide gazeux à une température et à une pression respectivement supérieures à 200° C et à 1 bar, et qui est en particulier destinée à former un raccord tubulaire souple de découplage pour système d'admission d'air d'un moteur à turbocompresseur.
Cette structure multicouches (30) comporte :
- une couche interne étanche et résistant à l'agressivité du fluide, constituée d'une composition de caoutchouc à base d'au moins un élastomère fluorocarboné (FKM) et comprenant un système de réticulation par un peroxyde qui comprend au moins un co-agent de réticulation,
- une couche de renforcement surmontant ladite couche interne, de préférence à base d'un renfort textile, et
- au moins une couche externe apte à résister à l'environnement extérieur de la structure.
Selon l'invention, le ou chaque co-agent est une dioléfine fluorée de type divinylperfluoroaliphatique et la couche externe est à base d'au moins un élastomère silicone, de sorte que la structure soit dépourvue de couche intermédiaire d'enduction en caoutchouc pour faire adhérer cette couche externe à la couche interne.
