  (EN) Stable, thermally reversible gels of organic solvents and a gelling agent having the formula: R1-(CH2)n-CO2-R2, wherein R1 is an anthracene analogue or substituted anthracene analogue, n is zero or a whole number from 2 to 20, and R2 is cholesteryl or cholestanyl or a derivative of cholesteryl or cholestanyl, processes for producing same, and novel anthrance analogue cholesteryl and cholestanyl esters and derivatives.(FR) Des gels de solvants organiques stables et thermiquement réversibles, ainsi qu'un agent gélifiant, ont la formule; R1-(CH2)n-CO2-R2, dans laquelle R1 est un analogue d'anthracène ou un analogue d'anthracène substitué, n est égal à 0 où à un nombre entier compris entre 2 et 20, et R2 est du cholestéryl ou cholestanyl ou un dérivé de cholestéryl ou de cholestanyl.
