This work describes a nickel-catalyzed Ullmann-type thiolation of aryl iodidesunder mild electrochemical conditions. The simple undivided cell with graphene/nickel foam electrode setups offers excellent substrate tolerance, affording aryl and alkyl sulfides in good chemical yields.
