1,3-Dipolar cycloadditions between ethyl trifluoracetoacetate or α-trifluoromethylstyrene and N-(benzylidene)methylamineN-oxide were performed in the absence of solvent. Under microwave irradiation in a monomode Maxidigest Prolabo reactor, quantitative yields were obtained within 3 min.
