O-functional derivatives of substituted isoquinolin-3-ol compounds of the general formula ##STR1## that exhibit cardiotonic and/or phosphodiesterase fraction III inhibiting properties and/or renal vasodilating are pharmacologically active in the treatment of cardiac conditions.
