the augmented connectivity of the ligand, a lower than usual metal ion nuclearity for the building subunit. Temperature-dependent structural studies indicate that the layered structure undergoes dehydration at 90 °C and remains stable up to 200 °C. Magnetic characterizations show that 1 behaves as a ferrimagnet, with a Curie temperature of 2.8 K.
