Vinyl and isopropenyl acetates undergo ester interchange, even in the absence of PTC catalyst, with primary alcohols and phenols.

  A plasticizer composition is disclosed that includes di(2-ethylhexyl) terephthalate, and which is substantially free of a di-ester according to Formula I: (I), where R1 is a straight-chain or branched alkyl group having from 1 to 13 carbon atoms, and where R1 is different than 2-ethylhexane.
